Clouds continue to blanket much of the viewing area. Highs today will warm to around 80 but with the increased moisture, it will feel a bit warmer.

Overnight, lows will settle in the 60s with a mostly cloudy sky. There may be an occasional shower in northwest Alabama from Hamilton to Jasper after midnight. Tuesday afternoon will be warmer and mostly cloudy. Highs reach into the lower 80s.

There will be more active weather on Thursday as a cold front sweeps across the state. Keep an eye to the sky as some storms could be strong. Gusty winds and heavy rain, at times. This will move in and move pretty quickly. It will provide sunshine Friday and through the weekend.
