Quiet Overnight

RIGHT NOW: All storms have needed for central Alabama. It will be a quiet night.

TOMORROW: We essentially rinse & repeat today’s forecast again for tomorrow…hot & humid with isolated afternoon showers.  Highs expected in the low 90s, heat index in the upper 90s. Afternoon rain chance at 30%.

FRIDAY: Most of us will stay rain-free during the day Friday with partly cloudy skies, but can’t totally rule out a pop-up shower.  Such is always the case in the summer! Putting Friday’s rain chance at 20%. Highs in the low 90s, lows in the low 70s.

THIS WEEKEND: The forecast stays essentially untouched rolling into the weekend.  Both Saturday and Sunday will feature near-average temperatures for summer in the 90s along with mostly sunny skies.  Still can’t totally rule out a pop-up shower areawide, so keeping rain chances at 20%, although the majority of us will only see sunshine.  Go outside & enjoy it!

NEXT WEEK: Afternoon highs will be a tad hotter at next week’s start in the mid 90s.  Other than that, not much changes…rain chances anywhere from 20 to 30 percent Monday through Wednesday.
