October 02 2021 06:00 pm

Tracking The Tropics: Fred is moving north through The Gulf of Mexico, and has reorganized to become tropical storm with 45 mph sustained wind. A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued along the Alabama Gulf Coast and The Florida Panhandle. Here is the latest advisory and forecast track from The National Hurricane Center:

The current forecast calls for Fred to make landfall on Monday evening between Mobile and Pensacola, producing heavy rain, dangerous rip currents and the possibility for a few tornadoes.

We are also tracking Tracking Tropical Depression Grace, located about 340 miles southeast of Haiti. Forecast models take this system across The Caribbean, and then possibly moving into The Gulf of Mexico by the end of next week.
