More Tracking the Tropics

Remember how perfect last week’s weather was?  More of that is in store for Wednesday and Thursday!  Mostly sunny skies for both days and near-average temps are expected.  That means afternoon highs near 70°, overnight lows in the 40s.  Cloud cover & overall moisture will increase slightly going into Friday.  We won’t likely see much rain at all Friday, but we can’t completely rule out a few sprinkles during the day Friday.  Our chances of rain will continue going up on Saturday.  Most of Saturday’s rain will fall in the evening as a slow-moving cold front approaches.  That should prevail into the Sunday morning as well…drying out by Sunday afternoon.

Because we’re entering into our peak severe weather season in April, the chance of severe weather is something we’re mindful of with each approaching system.  Fortunately, though, it seems very unlikely with this weekend’s system.  Appears to be just some rain…nothing too crazy.\

For next week, temperature trends appear to be pointing towards cooler than average for the start of April…Highs will be in the 60s more than likely, lows some mornings next week could dip into the 30s.
