Temperatures tonight will fall to the low 70s. And we will see a mostly cloudy to partly cloudy start to the day on Sunday. Temperatures will be warm and humid and in the upper 80s, low 90s. We will see a partly to mostly cloudy sky and afternoon pop up storms, once again. But, the coverage does look to be slightly less impressive for Sunday afternoon.
On Monday, high pressure will start to setup across the Southeast through the week. This will help to keep our rain/storms chance to more isolated in coverage through much of the week. With sinking, warm air in place, get ready for it to be very hot and humid stretch into the Fourth of July holiday. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s by mid-week, with index values likely in the low 100s on July Fourth. Afternoon pop up storms cannot be ruled out, but so far it looks pretty good for any fireworks on the Fourth!
