Tonight, the rain is ending. Despite the flooding rain earlier today, it will be a dry evening. Lows will settle in the 70s.
Tuesday, a cold front approaches from the north, with storms likely again. The time frame is a bit up in the air right now, as some storms could impact the region early Tuesday morning. Some of the storms we get could be strong, with gusty winds to go along with the lightning and heavy rain.
As that cold front sags south, it could move far enough through the state to bring some drier air into the area. This would lead to lower overall rain chances, which we think everyone would take at this point. The forecast for the middle and late stages of the week, Wednesday through Friday, depend on where the front ends up, so we’ll keep you posted.
