For both tomorrow & Friday, the forecast will be summerlike with small chances of afternoon showers continuing. It will be warmer-than-average for the start of May, but it won’t quite FEEL like summer with the humidity not being quite as oppressive and highs only in the mid 80s, lows in the mid 60s. On the plus side, widespread rain no longer appears likely for Friday…only now anticipating isolated rain coverage with partly sunny skies.
Saturday is our best chance to see scattered rain coverage and maybe a few thunderstorms. Still thinking that any severe weather chances are negligible…not worried about it! The rain should persist for most of Saturday afternoon & into Saturday evening and diminish in coverage gradually overnight into Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, the sun should come back out and we’ll turn dry. Temps will be slightly cooler after the rain end…expecting highs Sunday in the upper 70s, lows Monday in the upper 50s.
The first half of next week looks pretty quiet weather-wise…temps will likely stay just a hair above-average for early May and rain chances close to nil for Monday & Tuesday, maybe a few isolated showers Wednesday. Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
