FRIDAY: Isolated showers will be possible midday. But, better coverage is expected later in the day. It will be hot and humid in the low 90s. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with the sun still shining through.
WEEKEND: Scattered storms will continue through the weekend. Saturday looks to be the driest of the two days, with drier air working its way across the state. It is going to be very hot and in the low 90s, with some locations climbing to the mid 90s. Heat index values will be nearing the triple digits, especially on Saturday. Better rain chance for Sunday.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Rain and storm chances will become more isolated into early next week, with our upper level winds more northerly (i.e. drier air to help limit the shower activity). Temperatures will be climbing each afternoon and models are suggesting we could see our highest temperatures of the season so far by the end of the week.
