We dealt with a few isolated showers last night and early this morning, and we won’t be surprised to see a few more showers pop up this afternoon. Not everyone will see the rain, and generally highs will reach the low and mid 80s. If you do see a shower, it should move in and out pretty quickly.
The upper level pattern starts to shift tomorrow, leading to a much warmer and drier forecast. Friday highs will creep up into the mid and upper 80s with plenty of sunshine. You’ll start to feel more of that Alabama humidity as well. More of the same is ahead for Saturday, although temperatures will be a few degrees warmer, with a few locations hitting the 90 degree mark.
A cold front slides south into the Deep South and stalls out northwest of us. However, it should be close enough to enhance some rain chances by Sunday and Monday. We aren’t looking at widespread coverage, just an unsettled atmosphere are we end the weekend and start the work week. By Tuesday that front lifts back north and drier, warm weather returns.
