Central AL Forecast: Cool Night. Mild Tuesday. Rain Early Wednesday.

TUESDAY: It will be a dry start to the day, with relatively mild air in place. Highs will flirt with 70 degrees in most spots. There will be a few places south of I-20 that will likely see 70 Tuesday. A cold front moves in late Tuesday night. Expect heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms.

WEDNESDAY: The line of rain and occasional thunderstorm marches through central and east Alabama from midnight Wednesday through day break. I think we’ll start to see clearing by 9am across central Alabama. Then, it dries out for the rest of the day. Highs will cool back into the low 60s.

THANKSGIVING DAY: It will be a dry day. Perfect for family, friends, and football. Temps start in the 30s and top our around 60. It will be a cool, autumn day.

IRON BOWL: Tailgating Saturday will remain dry, but rain is possible by the end of the game. I would pack some rain gear. Although the kickoff will stay dry, models are suggesting some rain by the end of the game. We will continue to monitor the situation through the week.
