Nebraska campers uncover baby mammoth tooth

(WIAT) — A group at a nature camp in Nebraska stumbled across a pretty big find recently.

A wilderness park nature camp group unearthed a tooth from a baby mammoth.

Camp counselors think the tooth made its way above ground because of flooding in the past months.

One counselor said they normally find cow, bison and deer bones, but this was a much more fun discovery.

The tooth is still with the campers while the camp decides what to do with it next.
