BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — For the second week of the fifth edition of the ēCO Savings Race, we meet team Jackson, Stephenson and Wright.Quintin and Michelle Jackson
“Our goal is to be able to learn more financially sound decisions so that when (our son) goes to college he will not make some of the same decisions that we made that would put him in the same boat with a lot of student loans,” the couple said. The ēCO team is happy that the Jacksons are not only thinking of themselves, but their son’s financial future.Danielle and Jeremy Stephenson
“ I just want to have systems in place to have a savings, to save for college, and retirement is something that we are absolutely failing on,” said Danielle. The ēCO coaches are ready to help set this family up for true financial peace.Randle and Kenyonia Wright
“We are already doing a bunch of (debt snowballing)! Like the kids have to sit down and cut coupons,” said Kenyonia.
ēCO coaches say that when the whole family gets involved in the process, it makes a huge difference.
This year is sure to be fast, fun and unique! Family updates will play every Monday on a rotating schedule throughout our different newscasts on WIAT. If you would like to follow the teams closely throughout the race, visit eCOSavingsRace.org.
