‘The Eagle’ radio personality Lisa Mason dies due to ‘health complications’

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A longtime Birmingham radio personality has died due to “health complications,” her employer confirms.

Award-winning morning show personality Lisa Mason was a fixture on WBPT-FM 106.9 The Eagle for over 17 years. The radio veteran hosted Do Dah Day, local town festivals, Toys for Tots, tornado relief drives, the annual Boo Halloween Party, in addition to other community events.
