BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) So are you want to get those flabby arms in shape? Well in this week’s Fitness Friday it is all about toning and strengthening your arms.

Working out your arms is so important when it comes to being able to lift heavy things, for balance and just for overall health.

From your triceps, biceps, to the shoulders, even to your rotator cuffs, you want to make sure you work out your entire arm for strengthening and full-toned results.

Remember, like working out any other body part, while working on your arms you want to make sure that you are keeping your core tight, shoulders in the right position and breathing properly.

When working out you can use exercise bands and dumbbells to help give you the resistance you need to get the results you want.

While working on your arms you want to make sure you are moving at a slow steady pace in order to really get and feel the resistance.

Exercises like dumbbell lifts, tricep kickbacks, and tricep extensions are always good for getting the back of your arm.
