HALL COUNTY, Ga. (WIAT/CNN) — Dramatic surveillance video shows a Georgia Chick-fil-A worker leap out of a drive-thru window to save a child who was choking in the backseat of a car.
Logan Simmons says he noticed a mother pleading for help when her son’s seatbelt got tangled around his neck. That’s when he jumped into action.
“I think it was the quickest option, it was right there and I saw the other car right there,” Simmons said.
Simmons noticed the boy was losing oxygen fast and got out his pocketknife and cut the seatbelt setting the boy free and saving his life.
The boy’s mother called Simmons later on to thank him personally.
No word yet on if Simmons will be getting a raise for his actions!
