UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled, missing 2-year-old found safe and sound

ANNISTON, Ala. (WIAT) – UPDATE 9:00 a.m. – The Amber Alert is over. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the child has been found safe and sound.

07/03/19- 11:00 p.m – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old girl from Anniston.

Alabama authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout for Catalina Chloe Rimpsey. She was last seen around 11:30 AM on July 3. Law enforcement believes she may be with her father, 75 year-old Freddy Victory Rimpsey, Sr.

Catalina is believed to be in extreme danger.

The two may be traveling in a 1999 tan or gold Ford Econoline van with the Alabama license plate 11FP201.
