Auburn parting ways with OC Chip Lindsey as he heads to Kansas

AUBURN, Ala (WIAT)– Offensive Coordinator Chip Lindsay is leaving Auburn and is heading to Kansas to become their Offensive Coordinator. He joins head coach Les Miles staff who was just become the head man there a couple of weeks ago. Lindsay returned to Auburn in Jan 2017 after a stint with the team in previous years. In 2017, Auburn became just the eighth team in SEC history to rush and pass for 3,000 yards in a season, ranked 26th nationally in total offense and set an Auburn record scoring 327 points in SEC play, He coached the 2017 SEC player of the year Kerryon Johnson.
