BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – Jackson-Olin’s Que Robinson flips his commits from Auburn to Alabama. The 4-star is rated the state’s top linebacker according to 24-7, 5th best in the country.
“A wise soul once told me, ‘go to a place that has people that look like you,’ that you could possibly look like. That played a huge part because you know you want to be developed the right way. You don’t want to go to a school and they develop you as a running back,” said Robinson. “It was just time for me to just come out. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time. Me and Coach V, we’ve been talking about it and I just took all my visits to make sure Bama was the right place for me.”
“He commited so early, I told him when he did it, I think it’s early you’re still a 10th grader there’s a lot of time to go, but he handled it the right way,” said Jackson-Olin head coach Tim Vakakes.
