SANTA CLARA, Calif. (WIAT) -- Inside Levi's Stadium, teams are getting ready to go head to head for the national title. But outside, is a party full of Clemson and Alabama fans who are pumped for the game.
The Allstate Championship Tailgate has fans completely entertained. The Alabama Million Dollar Band even stopped by to get the crowd going. There was also live entertainment, zip lining, food and lots of happy faces among fans.
The teams are getting ready to battle it out on the gridiron, but fans from both sides are enjoying each other's company and keeping it respectful.
"You know I just ran into a Clemson fan and really enjoyed that everyone is being nice and cordial, I think there's a lot of respect for both schools," Alabama fan Robert Karlisle said.
"I think it's a great rivalry," Clemson fan Russel Shults said. "It may go back to the Celtics and Lakers and so it's just a building rivalry, so we're excited about seeing the game."
The tailgate is the pregame for fans before they enter Levi's Stadium to cheer on their team and enjoy the game. The National Championship kicks off at 7 p.m. CT.
