University of Alabama offering services to keep guests cool for game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — This weekend the Central Alabama areas will be experiencing higher than usual temperatures for Septemeber with highs in the upper 90s. With the Crimson Tide vs New Mexico game starting at 3 p.m., game goers will be in the midst of the scorching hot temperatures.

As a safety measure, the University of Alabama is providing services to help keep fans cool for one of the hottest games (no pun intended) on the Crimson Tide’s schedule.

Water refill stations:

UA Gameday posted that there will be water refill stations located throughout the stadium. Guests must bring an EMPTY water bottle to use this service.

Cooling Stations

UA Gameday states that there will be fans and chairs at sections L, LL, N-1, N-8, GG, EE, BB, D, K

Cooling Towels
