MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman from Birmingham is charged with murder in Mobile after she was arrested by police early Wednesday morning.
Angela Johnson-Evans, 22, was booked into Mobile-Metro Jail at 12:45 a.m. According to jail records, Johnson-Evans listed a Birmingham address at the time of her arrest.
Johnson-Evans is charged in the death of 23-year-old Taheed King. King was found shot to death outside the Knollwood Apartments on Saturday.
News 5 is working to get more information about the murder charge. Johnson-Evans was ticketed in Mobile in 2016 for reckless driving and tinted windows.
