BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham Police are investigating after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Ensley.
Around 8 p.m., authorities responded to Ensley Avenue and 31st Street to a woman and her baby who were hit by a car, according Captain Harold Watson.
At the time of the accident, the woman was pushing the baby in a stroller when they were struck. The woman was transported to UAB Hospital with severe injuries and her baby was sent to Children’s of Alabama with minor injuries, authorities said.
