UPDATE: The body of Jeremy Lipscomb, reported missing, has been found.


UPDATE: The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office announced that the body of Jeremy Lipscomb, missing since October 20, has been found.

According to the report, it was found shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday near the water where he was last seen.

His body will be sent to Huntsville for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.  


The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find Jeremy Lipscomb, missing since October 20.

Deputies and investigators are searching for the 41-year-old, who was last seen by a family member on October 20 in the area of Fitts Ferry Road and Whites Chapel Road, Gadsden, near the boat landing.

Lipscomb is described by the sheriff’s office as 5’11”, 165 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt and khaki pants.
