UAB’s Bill Clark hosting Alabama Power Birmingham Bowl Youth Football Clinic this week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — This week, if your favorite football star wants to learn the fundamentals of the game, you’ll want to sign them up for this! UAB Coach Bill Clark is inviting your child to the Alabama Power Birmingham Bowl Youth Football Clinic this Friday. 

The clinic will be held at UAB’s Football Operations Center at Legacy Pavilion. The free half-day football fundamentals clinic is open to the first 200 youth players from Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Attendees ages 8 to 13 years old will take part in on-field agility drills and offensive and defensive training. Each participant will receive a complimentary T-shirt, a boxed lunch, and two tickets to the 13th annual Birmingham Bowl later this year.  

Clinic check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. Friday morning at Legacy Pavilion on 2nd Avenue South in Birmingham. The clinic is July 13th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You can register online here or call the Birmingham Bowl office at (205)733-3776 x103. You can find more information on Facebook
