Tua Tagovailoa leads the way in many way-too-early 2020 NFL mock drafts

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Enjoy him while you can Alabama football fans. Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa may not be wearing crimson and white past his Junior season if he has another historic year like 2018.

The 2019 NFL Draft just wrapped up last weekend but the focus has already turned to 2020 and one name is top-10 in about every way-too-early mock draft… you guessed it, Tua Tagovailoa. It’s no guarantee that the Heisman Trophy runner-up will leave Alabama a year early. He may just want to stay all four seasons; but the allure of the NFL, especially for projected top picks, is hard to pass up.

Tagovailoa broke several Alabama passing records in his first full season as the Tide’s starter in 2018. He passed for 3,966 yards, to go along with 43 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions. He also had 5 rushing touchdowns.

Joining Tagovailoa in every 2020 mock draft out there is wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The All-American won the Biletnikoff Award last season, catching 68 passes for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Here’s a sample of some 2020 mock drafts out right now:
