PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Update (8/28): The State Bureau of Investigation says that a man was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Pickens County.
Wallace Wilder, 62, was killed in Gordo Wednesday afternoon.
Original (8/28): The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed there was an officer-involved shooting Wednesday.
The State Bureau of Investigation is now taking over the scene. The officer involved is said to be doing well.
