Police arrested the remaining suspect, Tonio Givens, Tuesday night. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
One suspect has been arrested and another is still at large in connection with a shooting that left two women injured Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to the 100 block of 3rd Street in Docena around 1:45 p.m. on a call that two women had been shot. When police arrived, they learned that both victims had been taken away from the scene in private vehicles.
One victim was taken to Wylam Fire Station where she was later transported to the hospital by ambulance. The second victim returned to the scene of the shooting and was transported to the hospital from there.
The victims were riding in a car with a man, who detectives later learned was the boyfriend of one of the victims. He reportedly had a feud with one of the suspects, 21-year-old James Sinclair.
As the male driver and two female victims drove through the neighborhood, Sinclair along with 20-year-old Tonio Givens, fired shots into the vehicle.
Sinclair told officials he believed the male driver was going to harm him, so he and Givens shot at the car.
The two victims are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Sinclair was taken into custody at the scene. He and Givens are charged with two counts of attempted murder.
James Sinclair is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Givens is still at large.
