Saban’s host annual Nick’s Kids luncheon

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Before the beginning of each football season, Nick and Terry Saban celebrate the past year’s success of their charity, Nick’s Kids.

This year, the Saban’s handed out over $500,000 to different organizations, including the Nick’s Kids playground on the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk, the new welding and multi-purpose facility at the Tuscaloosa Juvenile Detention Facility, and the 17th Habitat for Humanity house in Tuscaloosa to celebrate Alabama’s 17th national championship.

Since arriving in Tuscaloosa, Nick’s Kids has given away over $8 million to many causes and organizations in the community.
