Roy Moore suing political action committees for sexual allegation commercials

News

ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) – Former Judge Roy Moore is suing political action committees which he alleges are behind commercials that broadcast allegations of improper sexual relationships with teenage girls in the 1970s.

At least six Etowah County judges will not be presiding over a lawsuit brought by Moore, as they recused themselves.

Today, the ordered filed in the Etowah County Circuit Court was signed by Judges David Kimberly, Will Clay, George Dar, Jr., Joe Nabors, William Ogletree and William Rhea, III.

The justices have requested that another judge, someone outside of Etowah County, be assigned to preside over the case.
