(WIAT) — According to a recent report, at least 200,000 Alabama residents are driving around with defective airbags in their vehicles that could blast sharp metal fragments into the passenger compartment upon impact.
AirbagRecall.com conducted the report regarding the Takata airbag recall in the state. The report also claimed that at least 600 of these vehicles contain “Do Not Drive” airbags.
If your vehicle contains a defective airbag, drivers can contact their automaker’s nearest dealership to schedule a free repair.
