Pleasant Grove woman admits to setting ex-boyfriend’s house on fire in May

PLEASANT GROVE, Ala. (WIAT) — The Pleasant Grove Police Department has arrested a woman who admitted to setting her ex-boyfriend’s house on fire back in May.

Ashlee Mack, 33, was taken into custody by authorities after evidence indicated Mack to the crime, according to PGPD. The fire occurred in the 700 block of 13th Court.

Mack has been charged with second-degree arson and third-degree burglary.

She is currently being held in the Pleasant Grove Jail and is awaiting to be transported to the Jefferson County Jail where she will be held on a $45,000 bond.
