Pickens Co. Chief Deputy charged with theft, tampering with evidence

CARROLLTON, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has arrested Pickens County Chief Deputy Jonathan Gann.

Gann was arrested by special agents with ALEA and charged with second-degree theft of property and tampering with evidence.

The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the criminal allegations.

No other information has been released at this time. A press conference will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. to discuss the arrest of Gann.
