TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — A Tuscaloosa teacher is making sure she has the tools to teach her students.
Natalie Roig-McKnight teaches in the Fine Arts Academy at Paul W. Bryant High School. She teaches fashion as part of the curriculum, but says the class could really use some additional supplies.
“When it comes to purchasing supplies and stuff like that, sewing machines and mannequins are pretty expensive,“ Roig-McKnight said.
Thanks to the CBS 42 and eCo Credit Union, she can use her One Class at a Time $1,000 grant to get her class the supplies she needs.
