BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and the Mike Slive Foundation is helping bring the spotlight to the cause with several events and initiatives. They’ll be joined by Urology Centers of Alabama, a few sports personalities, coaches, and even UAB Football!

The Foundation will host its second annual “I’m With Mike” event on Thursday, September 27th. The event raises money for prostate cancer research. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, Alabama Men’s Basketball Coach Avery Johnson, Auburn Men’s Basketball Coach Bruce Pearl, UAB Men’s Basketball Coach Rob Ehsan and others will also be in the audience.

The night includes hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and a silent auction filled with items like a limited edition Mike Slive Foundation Maker’s Mark bourbon bottle, a seat at the table with the College Football Playoff Selection Committee for a Mock Selection, tickets to the SEC Championship Game, and the College Football Championship game, VIP behind-the-scenes experiences and more. “I’m With Mike” kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Alys Stephens Center.
