TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — An early morning crash left a McCalla man dead Saturday morning.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jackie L. George Jr., 33, was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway, stuck a utility pole and overturned. George was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred around 3:44 a.m. on Tannehill Parkway.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate.
