TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox is holding community meetings to talk to residents.
Maddox spent several hours at the Skyland Boulevard Chik-Fil-A on Wednesday meeting with citizens to hear about any issues or concerns. Maddox stated that this event is part of a continued effort to be more available to the people of Tuscaloosa.
“Whether it’s a garbage cart issue or storm drainage or a pothole in your street or getting additional patrols because of neighborhood issues,” Maddox said. “This is the type of nuts and bolts of city government that is important for the delivery of essential services and this is venue where we can learn whats going on.”
The next meeting will be March 31 at Buffalo Wild Wings on McFarland Boulevard.
