BRIGHTON, Ala. (WIAT) — Authorities arrested a 28-year-old man in connection to a shooting that left a 15-year-old girl injured Monday evening.
Ronnie Lee Williams, Jr. is facing multiple charges including attempted murder, two counts of reckless endangerment, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Around 5 p.m., Brighton Police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Bessemer Avenue. Since then, Williams has been arrested by Jefferson County detectives and the Brighton Police Department. His bond totals to $100,000.
The 15-year-old girl is recovering at a local hospital. Police are still investigating to find a motive.
