UAB professors want to teach kids how to succeed in the business world. This week, they held a camp to do that.
Rising 7th and 8th graders learned entrepreneurship skills during the UAB Math Camp this week at the Regions Institute for Financial Education at the Collat School of business.
Dr. Stephanie Yates, director of the institute, said the goal was to introduce kids to business and how to succeed in it. And even if they’re not interested in a career as an entrepreneur, they could learn valuable life skills during the camp.
The camp ran from Monday to Thursday.
