Two new sexual assault charges filed against youth ministry founder in Etowah County

Two more sexual assault charges have been filed against Acton Bowen, the founder of a youth ministry who was first arrested for similar charges on April 10. 

Bowen is facing two 2nd Degree Sodomy charges in relation to one victim, according to the Etowah County PIO. The charges each carry a $200,000 property bond, which will be added to his current bond of $455,000 for a total of $855,000

Bowen was also arrested on April 18 in Etowah County and booked on two counts of 2nd Degree Sodomy, two counts of Enticing a Child, and three counts of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree. His initial arrest in Hoover was on charges of Sodomy 2nd Degree, Enticing a Child to Enter a Vehicle, House etc. for Immoral Purposes, and Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree.
