Trussville PD urge residents to lock car doors after two arrested for unlawful breaking and entering

TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (WIAT)- Trussville Police are urging residents to lock vehicles after two people are arrested for unlawful breaking and entering.

It happened in the Queenstown and Still Oaks Area of town. Police say the suspects had property on their persons that were not associated with reported thefts.

But residents are advised If you reside in this area and have noticed items missing from your vehicle you are encouraged to file a police report.

As you can see, in the video below, the suspects were only interested in unlocked vehicles which highlight the importance of removing valuables and locking your cars.

So everyone, not just residents in the Trussville area, but everyone is encouraged to lock your vehicles.
