Every year American’s celebrate the challenge to British rule that was our Declaration of Independence and the birth of our nation. At the American Village you can interact and talk with our founding fathers! We caught up with Patrick Henry who says that “on the 15th of May, 1776, Virginia passed resolves, declared independence, and created a bill of rights. Now, two months later, of course give or take, by the 4th of July, the entire country had become free from British rule.”
