(WIAT) — Some sleep experts say you should really be napping, but that the perfect time to do it is at work.
If you’re not getting good sleep at night already, skip an afternoon nap, as it can mess up your internal clock even more.
For everyone else, an expert with the National Sleep Foundation said a power nap can help fight that dip in energy and alertness we often feel in the afternoon.
The ideal time of day to doze off is between 2 and 4 p.m., and limit your catnap to 20 minutes. Anything more, you slip into REM sleep and it make the energy levels for rest of your day worse, not better.
