PELHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Your child may not be thinking about the upcoming school year, but one library is.  The Pelham Public Library is hosting a week-long back-to-school drive to benefit students in the county who are in foster care.

The library is accepting new school supplies, undergarments, used backpacks, and monetary donations.

David Smith, Pelham Public Library Supervisor, said, “We want to reach out and serve members of the community.”

The drive runs until July 12. All donations can be dropped off at the library.
