The concert was considered successful, raising over 1.2 million dollars disaster recovery of the EF3 tornado that left many areas and buildings of Jacksonville State University damaged.  Lynard Skynard made another donation for the cause.

Randy Owen, lead singer of Alabama said,”It’s a way to say thank you and bring the spirits and continue to bring the spirits going [to] this university and this community. This whole area of Alabama and West Georgia, so many students come from there as well and families.”
