FORESTDALE, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE (9/16/19): The victim has been identified.

While cleaning up after a party, a homeowner found a person lifeless at the bottom of the pool early Sunday morning.

On Sunday around 2 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of Suburban Trail in Forestdale to investigate a man found lifeless in the swimming pool. 

The homeowners report that they had a party Saturday night that ended between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.  The homeowners report that while cleaning up after the party they observed someone’s personal items by the pool, the sheriff’s office reports. The homeowners checked the area and found a body lifeless at the bottom of the deep end of the pool.

Sheriff’s Deputies and paramedics arrived and found the man to be dead on the scene.  The man has been identified as someone known to the homeowners.  There were no signs of foul play in this death.
