BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) — Bessemer native and NFL quarterback Jameis Winston will return to Alabama for his “Dream Forever Week.”

The week runs from June 17 to June 21 and will allow underprivileged youth from the area to hear from the former Heisman Trophy winner.

Starting June 17, Winston will surprise 10 kids with a $100 shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hoover.

On June 19, Winston will be at the Bessemer Public Library to give a donation and speech to the local children. Winston will also be giving out free books and autographed items.

On June 20, Winston will be leading some of Alabama’s top high school recruits through drills at his Dream Forever Exposure Camp. The camp will be streamed to college coaches across the country.

Wrapping things up on June 21, Winston will host his Dream Forever Football Camp at his alma mater, Hueytown High School. This camp is to help 200 kids learn the fundamentals of football through drills and advice from Winston and his NFL colleagues and coaches.
