BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (DREAM FOREVER FOUNDATION/WIAT) —
NFL Star Quarterback Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers returns home Monday, June 17th – Friday, June 21st as host of the “Dream Forever Week” – an action-packed, week-long event where Jameis will provide mentorship, inspiration and an experience of a lifetime free to over 500 local underprivileged youth.
The Dream Forever Week will kick-off on Monday, June 17th with “Shop with a Jock” at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hoover, AL, where Jameis will surprise 10 local children. This private event will give at-risk children from the Birmingham area a fun-filled day with a $100 shopping spree per child at Dick’s Sporting Goods with their favorite NFL player.

Wednesday, June 19th at the Bessemer Public Library where Jameis will make a special donation and speak with local students (ages 10-17) on the importance of furthering education and using public resources to reach their potential. Following the inspirational talk, Jameis will engage one-on-one with each participant and gift free books and autographed items.
On Thursday, June 20th, Jameis will host the Dream Forever Exposure Camp – a free youth football camp where 200 of Alabama’s top high school recruits will learn fundamentals of football on and off the field. In addition to drills and training, attendees will participate in unique seminars that will focus on character building, social justice, NCAA rules/regulations, and guidelines for student athletes. The camp will be streamed to elite college coaches across the country.
The Dream Forever Week will conclude on Friday, June 21st as Jameis returns to his Alma Mater, Hueytown High School, to host the Dream Forever Football Camp – a free youth football camp where 200 kids (ages 8-13) will learn the fundamentals of football through a fun day of drills and training. The action-packed event will be led by Jameis and NFL colleagues and coaches. Lunch, t-shirts and special event memorabilia will be provided to all camp participants.
The Dream Forever Week is presented by Jameis Winston and the Dream Forever Foundation established by Winston in 2017. The Dream Forever Foundation aims to impact the lives of financially disadvantaged children and youth through encouragement, opportunities and resources to develop and achieve their dreams.
