Huffman High School teacher dies in Dominican Republic

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham City Schools announced the death of Huffman High School teacher Alicia Williams. Williams passed away in the Dominican Republic.  

Williams was a ninth-grade English teacher and recently completed her third year at Huffman.

Birmingham City Schools stated,

Our hearts go out to her family during this tragic situation, and she will be missed by the Huffman community.

The cause of Williams death cannot be confirmed at this time.
