How to help the Bahamas following Dorian’s destruction

Local News

(WIAT) — Hurricane Dorian has left a path of destruction as it continues to make its way up the United States’ eastern coast.

While Dorian has been downgraded to a Category 2, it hit the Bahamas as a Category 5.

The Central Alabama Caribbean American Organization (CACAO) is asking for donations in order to help those in need by hosting a Jamaica Reggae Artist Capleton at the Saturn in Avondale Friday.

There will be a donation stand for guests to make them before and after the concert.
