MCDONALD CHAPEL, Ala. (WIAT) — An investigation is underway after a three-year-old was shot Friday night in Jefferson County.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. to the call of a child shot on Roanoke Street in the Forestdale community.
